Sylvia Peck's "Reitach" (Radishes)
/4 - 6 large radishes (black or white)
1 large onion
2 Tbsp. schmaltz (chicken fat)
salt and pepper to taste
Grate radishes on large side of grater. Grate onion on small side of grater. Mix with schmaltz; add seasoning to taste. Serve on lettuce leaf.
