Camp Skylemar

As I write this I am in Baltimore to pick up the next generation of Peck boys who continue the tradition of populating the roles of Camp Skylemar. Along with the rest of the Julius Peck grandsons, the May Peck grandsons and even a Dorman, I attended camp in the 70's and 80's. During my tenure there we had about 10 Pecks/Steinbergs/Buffensteins during any one summer. Being a Peck relative at Camp Skylemar was and still is like being part of a dynasty. It's wonderful to run into any Skylemar Alumni, especially from the 50's and 60's, and hear great stories about our family. Its an especially proud time today as the third generation of Pecks walk the bunkline.
